Discussion message Fast Road Cam.

In my trusty workshop manual it says that 1600–2s, 1600tis, 1800s, 1800tis, 2002s etc. all have the same cam, if so would you say there was a real need for a fast road cam if i put some twin 40 dell orto's on a '73 2002 touring engine? While i am on the topic, does any one have/​ know of an inlet manifold that i can get my hands on for some 40 dell ortos?

Type A0 was not very interesting: Constructed for low gas consumption in times of the first oil shock. Type A1 fitted with a dual-carb set (first Solex and later on Weber 40mm) and special air filter – delivering 115Bhp.
