hi all,

I'm having a bit of a problem with my idle level at the moment (too high).  I can't fix it with the idle adjustment and mixture screws as the throttle linkage seems to be set at too high revs when the pedal is untouched.  It is idling at around 3000rpm at cold then 2000 or so at normal operating temp.  I have pulled the idle adjustment screw all the way out and there is about a 7mm gap between the bottom of the screw and the eccentric.  Shouldnt the eccentric be able to rotate all the way back if the screw is out?

I'm guessing its down to the linkage as if i force the linkage towards the throttle housing slightly then the eccentric rotates more towards the idle adjustment screw.  Where is best to adjust the linkage to make the eccentric rotate closer to the screw?
