Has anyone got a good condition steering box for sale (no leaks, adjustable and no slop at full left and right lock)? If so give me a call (07980236439) or e mail me ...
The steering boxes have play on left and right locks. The testing/adjustment for the steering box is done when the steering arm is half way between the L to R lock and the front wheels should be pointing straight ahead.

I recently bought a steering box from the states (not knowing they are handed) in A1 condition. when you turn the spindle set at 90degress to the box the bottom spindle turns in unison through full lock left & right turn. My own steering box has no more adjustment left and when you turn towards full lock left or right there is no movement from the bottom spindle. I subsequently bought a second hand one from Linwar and it was in similiar condition to my existing steer box so I sent it back.
